Do You Need Prayer?

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything
that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or
more are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18: 19-20

Hi there. Hoping this finds you well and blessed. I want you to know that you have not happened upon my blog by chance. And especially if you are reading this, it means you need something. I am here to offer encouragement and hope. No matter what you are facing, no matter what you are going through remember nothing is impossible with God.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27

I want to stand in agreement with you, for whatever you may need. Healing, finances, marital issues, unsaved loved ones, un- forgiveness or grief. Whatever it is, nothing is too big for our God.

I want to encourage you by saying that, “God has NOT forgotten you. And you are NOT alone. He has heard every prayer and bottled every tear.” Be encouraged and be blessed. I am here if you need me. 🙂

In His Amazing Love,

Pastor Gypsy

    I have started a fast today and so far I’m not doing so well … I didn’t choose the Daniel fast as for some reason didn’t feel it was the right fast, I guess because you are allowed to eat on it and felt God would think that I wasn’t true because I was looking for an easier way if I went with the Daniel fast … I am in need of many things and I not only do this fast for me but for others I have prayed for as well … Only I don’t believe I am going to make it … I am losing hope here not In God mind you For I know he can do all things, I am not deserving, most of my problems are my doings … I just want to finish the fast and know you know down deep i didn’t fail him and that he heard and that he will answer … Maybe it is Satan telling me prayer isn’t enough I don’t know , nor am I sure why I’m writing or why I continue but I do believe that if two or more gather in his name he is in the midst of them and that what ever be ask will be done … If you would pray with me … I was going to fast for three days no food then do the Daniel fast from there but I don’t believe I’ll last the three days I have already had tea twice today though when I started the fast I told God i was going to do with out food not drink but I don’t think it works that way does it , yet as much as I fear I won’t make the fast I’m afraid to eat anything for fear if I do everything will come crashing down on my head tomorrow , which you would think that fear alone would keep me from putting food in my mouth but I’m not sure how long that fear will last before I start convincing myself God will forgive me he will understand you can try again tomorrow … I need God’s help please pray with me to succeed and for all that I’m praying for through the fast … And I’m told I can read anywhere from the bible while on the fast but maybe you could direct me somewhere in the bible that I can read and study that may help me through this as well … And if you would please be totally honest with me if I am doing this all wrong or thinking wrong or messing it up all together please tell me … I figure we all have our own relationship with god and when doing from the heart it’s hard to do it wrong for he see your heart , but then my way of thinking isn’t right always and so fear maybe i’m wrong here … I thank you for taking the time to read this if nothing else and will keep you in my prayers as well … Please forgive me if this email sounds crazy or makes not sense at all …

  2. Oh dear Braveheart…although I dont have the time at the moment to address every concern; I did want to atleast take the time to encourage you momentarily. However I will this evening offer more insight into your very “normal’ situation.

    I’m smiling because eveything you are facing is let me assure you….”completely normal”. But let me first “thank you for stopping by and making your request.”. It makes me so happy to encourage others and to be used as a tool to help others.

    Michelle, your right God knows your heart, in fact it was He who prompted you to fast, so know that He already knew the challenges you would face while attempting your fast. But with Him you can do all things. Let me just say for the record….fasting is VERY hard..whether you have fasted for the first time or the 100th. I have not found it much easier than when I first started. Simply because it is dying to the flesh..and yikes..who really wants to do that?

    It is commendable to start a full 3 day fast, but let me say as a newbie, start off slow. from experience I have learned its easier to commit to fasting one meal and actually completing that then to commit to more and failing. (the enemy works over time on me when I fail and truth be told Im harder on myself for not following through.)

    But You can do this…………!! You are a strong woman of God with more strength you than you give yourself credit for.

    I realize there are things you desperatelyy need from God and thats why you are fasting. Know that God hears your cries…and while he is requiring obedience from you..(through this fast). he knows how difficult it is and the battle that you face.

    Afterall think about this. In the book of Matthew when Jesus started his 40 day fast the devil came and tempted HIm. why? because even he knows the power of fasting.

    It wasnt until Jesus completed his 40 day fast that he began His ministry of performing miracles! Am I saying to go on a 40 day fast? Absolutely not, but I am telling you that if Jesus was tempted while fasting we certainly will be also. But there is something very powerful that comes from fasting. Not just answered prayers.

    But back to your current situation. DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP!! If you fail, get back up and try again, and again, and again and dont stop. There is no failure in trying…only failing to try at all.

    I would recommend, fasting one meal a day, or fasting from sun up to sun down. Then if you make it through that go for as long as you can. Fasting is hard stuff..I mean you will get so hungry even a stick of butter will look good:) You can smell the neighbors down the street cooking lol.

    But there is nothing wrong with fasting as daniel did. It is not cheating..it is just another way to fast. But if you feel bad about it, maybe the Lord wants you to start off with a full fast.–Ask Him what he is requiring.

    Remember God is looking for sacrifice in fasting..so if it is a sacrifice for you it will be a sacrifce for Him. Whatever you do, try and give God your best. And even if you fail, God sees and knows all. he knows your intentions and your heart. Michelle He is well pleased with you.

    Let me just say I personally have failed more times while fasting that I have finished what I set out to do. But I dont give up on myself because I know God doesnt. He is not looking at who I am now, but who I am to become through Him.

    You keep up the good work….and know that God is with you. If you would like I can send you some teachings I have on fasting, if you send me your email. Just email me at mywordshismessage@yahoo.com and that way your email stays private. I can correspond with you via email.

    Blessings to you in the name of Jesus.

    • Hello Friend, be of good cheer. God is on your side. I am in agreement with you that God will meet ALL your needs and even your desires. I am sorry to hear of your situation. I know life can be challenging and at times relentless in keeping us down. I too have had my share of setbacks. But I want to encourage you in knowing that God has not brought you this far to let you go now.

      The key to getting out of this situation is “TRUST and FAITH.” God will meet you right where you are, but you have to do your best to keep the faith. Something priceless I have learned is “WHEN YOUR GOING THROUGH HELL……>>>>DONT STOP!! Your simply passing though. But often times we get so discouraged that we pitch a tent and stay there awhile. The key is to keep pushing onward. I know you know all of this, it is just simply a reminder. 😀

      Lets Pray..”Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you today and I lift up your daughter to you. Father you know the situation, you know what she needs, so Father I ask that you would meet each and every need right now. Father I ask, where there is confusion you would give her peace, where there is disbelief, give her hope, where there is depression, give her strength. Open doors, Father God that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open. help her to see your mighty hand at work. Help her to see that she is not alone, and Father meet her right where she is at. Comfort her, strengthen her, encourage her in you. Father I would ask that you surround her with divine appointments. Surround her with Godly people that will help her.

      Create new opportunites for her Lord, restore ALL that the enemy has taken and give her an Ephesians 3:20 life. Pour out upon her, more than she could possibly ask or think. Lord, you know all and see all. Meet each and every need today Lord. Surround her with Heavenly Angels that will minister to her throughout her day.
      Father I thank you and I praise you today.

      I leave you with this scripture: Isaiah “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
      I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

      2 When you pass through the waters,
      I will be with you;
      and when you pass through the rivers,
      they will not sweep over you.
      When you walk through the fire,
      you will not be burned;
      the flames will not set you ablaze.

      3 For I am the LORD, your God,
      the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

      God bless you; my friend..If you ever need anything else, please dont hesitate to contact me.

        THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! GOD BLESS YOU! I KNOW THIS SITUATION AND OUR LIVES ARE IN JESUS’ HANDS!

  4. I have unsaved loved ones that need the Lord in their lives. They are living in turmoil and only God can give them peace that they need. I feel that God is going to do miracle in their lives if they only let God in. Also I have been looking for work, God knows the need and I know that He will supply it in His time and and not my time.
